javalina tournament

Gang....

Last weekend we had a javalina tournament. Winner was the heaviest animal. 13 hunters. 8 made a shot, only 5 animals found.
We had tooo much fun. I had the opportunity to approach the javi and my shot was made at 7 yards. I was wearing a leafy style suit that made a great camo for me.
My friend Alejandro (left in the pic) made a great shot at 15 yards.

Both used his bow, Thunderhorn heartstopper 55@25 that his Dad gave him. Custom made cedar arrows made by Alejandro and 125 magnus two blade broadhead...great arrows, if anyone wants to try them send me an email.

I finished 3rd, my javalina weighted 22kg = 48.5 lbs.
First place weighted 26kg = 57.3 lbs
Second place weighted 24kg = 52.9 lbs

Good luck to everyone on your next hunts.....
