Question for Rob...Page forward/page back arrows?
« on: January 25, 2011, 10:42:00 PM »
Hello Rob,
Would it be possible (w/o too much trouble) to add "page-forward" and "page-back" arrows before and after the page numbers located near bottom right of the pages in each forum?
My only method of navigating this site right now is through internet access on my phone (which is a total pain in the...).  Thumbs are apparently too big (or clumsy) to accurately hit the small page number "buttons" when I want to change pages - even after zooming in.  A forward or back arrow on each end of the string of page numbers would be really sweet.
It' not really a big deal... just thought I'd ask.
Thank you sir.
Regards,
Ron

hi ron,

sorry, can't change the code for that - still need to punch those itty bitty page numbers.

if you go all the way down to the bottom of the page, on the lower right hand side are 'previous' and 'next' arrows, but those are for navigating entire topics.

we hope to migrate to new software, with enhanced features, and a page backward and forward should be part of that.

regards,
rob.

Rob,

Thanks for the reply.

I figured that it would be a little more involved than just a quick code change.  The good news... I got my desktop back up and running this evening - so the little page numbers shouldn't be an issue any more... at least until the next crash.
Thanks for doing what you do to keep this site running smoothly.

Ron
