Marking maps and picutres
« on: March 11, 2012, 09:32:00 PM »
I've noticed several of you marking maps and pictures with colored circles and arrows marking locations in your posts. How are you doing this? Is there a program or tool app. that you are useing? Does Photobucket have a way to do this?
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Well, any photo editing software could do it, including MS Paint. Simply download the picture to your computer's hard drive, make a change (i.e. a circle in MS Paint or something better), then re-upload to your photobucket and post to Tradgang.

GIMP (Graphic Image Manipulation Program) is a really nice image editor and it is free.

The good part about it being open source is you are always just a google search away from all the info you can imagine to do about anything you can think up.

If you have a decent internet connection sumo paint is remarkably similar to photoshop and free; it's web based:

GIMP is cool too
