hy guys, just looking for a little input.i checked my limbs the other day and found one of the tips just starting to delaminate. i'm not sure if i should use some type of crazy glue or epoxy for the repair. any input would be appreciated. thanks

If it is the tip overlay only then you can probably fix it. If it's in the limb laminations, you probably should hang it on the wall

it's a small crack 1/4 way through the top of the tip, not in the limb section, just the tip.

Then I'd 2nd MJB and talk to Dave. Sounds like a fixer :-)
I once owned what Paul told me was his prototype for the Silver Ghost. A buddy still has it.

I thought the silver ghost was just a maple or dymonwood version of the take down. Was it actually a diff. model??

They were glued up by another company I think it was Martin. Then I believe Paul did all the finishing on them. They had quite a few delaminations of both the riser and the limbs and alot were sent back to Paul. Paul ended up replacing alot of these and I think it was a huge financial strain for Paul. I have one that was redone (riser and limbs) by Paul. What a guy to stand behind his product even though it was faulty gluing by another company. They were built with different materials than the silvertips were. More of a production bow.
