Martin Savannah Question
«
on:
February 09, 2007, 03:33:00 PM »
Several years ago I saw a Martin Savannah in a shop. I am pretty sure it was close to when they first came out. It had a reddish type color to the wood.
Recently I have seen a Savannah in a shop that looks different to me in terms of the wood. Is this just my failing memory or is there a difference between the older Savannahs and the new ones?

Frank,
I am not sure about them using different woods, maybe.
However, if you want to shoot one, I have one down here in Rockville.
Let me know.

Cool Wayne, we are headed down to Florida next week for some hog hunting. I will touch base with you after that. What poundage is your Savannah? BTW, is your son still shooting that Black Rhino? I now have a one year old that will need a bow soon so I will be looking for one.

I think unless special ordered they all come with the same wood on the limbs and riser. All I have seen were the same anyway.

There should be a serial number on the bow. Contact Martin and they will be able to tell you all you want to know.
