Jacks and Bandits....
« on: February 18, 2015, 02:45:00 PM »
Went out for a rabbit hunt yesterday then did some calling had 3 different grey fox come in but no shots. These 2 coons came to the call and I was able to get good arrows in em , going to crockpot the jacks and am trading the coon meat for a secret recipe on how to cook em to a friends grandmother....So ended up with 2 Jacks and 2 Coons...

Congrats on some nice critters. Interested in calling coons myself. There is a company selling a diaphragm squaller that knocks em dead. What call did you use? Congrats again.

The caller I used was the cheap Fox Pro that I bought used , first coon came into the baby cottontail sound second was to the coon fight sound. I mix it up with open reed mouth calls then to the caller..

I love my Tall Tines recurve it's by far my get it done bow of choice....

And now the best part Jacks and a backstrap off a hog I shot in the crockpot , keep at em boys....

Thanks Sam, the call Im thinking about buying is the MFK coon squaller diaphragm. The YT videos have to be seen to believe.
