The old '72 Bear Super K scored a doe at 5:05pm today, 12/30. It was a very long tracking job which ended with an outright search after losing the blood trail. I double lunged her, but got the upper tips of both lungs. She bled mostly inside. I am very thankful for a son-in-law with younger eyes than me who got us to her. He found her about 40 yards away from the last blood we had tracked. She was against a neighbor's cattle fence. He took a pic of her as we found her. Will try to post later if he sends it to me. It's been a loooong evening.

Great way to put bookends on the season, Bud!

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Yeah. Thanks, Mark. Watching my grandson after school has hindered my hunting time, but it has been a very good trade off. I got home this morning just shy of 1am.
