This bow came in overweight. So I trapped and sanded glass to drop about 8#. I’d like to build another with same recipe other than stack adjustments to eliminate the need for trapping.

I like the form, and plan to keep as is. But I may play a little with power lam and tip wedge length. The original design stacked later in the draw, but lacked the speed I was wanting.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the performance, but like you said, I think there’s still a little room for improvement.

I am just finding out that for my R/D bows that squeezing everything to the middle, working portion of the limb by adjusting your wedges seems to be the way to go for performance... Trick is not to get it hinging or too strong of a power lam...  I noticed that your tips may be opening up a bit...  Maybe stiffen them up with another 5- 10 thou. to help increase performance...

   Here is something I also am just finding out about but I have not quite nailed it yet as far as to understanding what exactly  to change...  Measure your string tension at brace after you rough cut/rough sand your limbs...  Then sand your limbs down a bit or to your desired width...  If it goes down in tension the bow is going down in performance and that means you need to make changes in your recipe...  If it goes up in tension, you have got a good recipe going on for performance....
