Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. We are struggling through and healing a little each day. Life will never be the same without him. Still hard to grasp the reality of it all. And we still stair at the door like he is gonna walk thru it any moment. Gonna be a long road but getting manageable. When we are busy life is functioning. When we are still we think of him and loss it. But we are doing the best we can and healing as we go.
Thanks again. The thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Father God, we know you know the pain in the loss of a son.  Please cover this family in your Holy Spirit's peace and give them your comfort and love, and hope in You. We know we will never understand on this side of heaven, why, but we can only trust in You, because You are truly all there really is.  In Your Son Jesus' name, we ask and trust...

God is your strength to stand.

Reached out to Jason todayand got a subdued but encouraging response...

His comment? We are doing good. Moving forward and healing. But slowly.

Prayers continue for that movement to continue in a foward positive direction for he and his own...
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
