Cold Weather BBO Cooking
« on: March 19, 2008, 02:03:00 PM »
I glued up a BBO yesterday and thought I would show all the newbies how I do get a good curing temp for my URAC when the weather is chilly.

I made this table just for glue ups, mighty handy and keeps all my clamps just where I need them.

I use a couple of drop clamp lights for heat and a yard sale comforter to make a tent.

Here is my curing tent closed up and cooking. The lights will keep the inside of the tent over 90 degrees even if it is 30 degrees in the shop.

Here is the blank out of the clamps. The glue-up looked like I added a whole lot of reflex but most of it comes out once you take the clamps off.

My shop does have the "used look". When the osage shaving get about ankle deep and I start loosing tools on my workbench I do a complete wall to wall clean up. Today might be the day to start cleaning up.

That's great!  Thank's for the pics.  If we ever have any cold weather here in Iowa, I'll have to try that.  :banghead:    :biglaugh:

I thought the thread said BBQ, and I was all ready to drool over a nice, smoky rack of ribs ...
That's a good idea, though Eric. Aren't you a wee bit concerned about flamage with the blanket, though?
