Congrats on your significant milestone. I'll have been retired 10 years in June and the time flies by pretty quickly. I wish you a long and healthy retirement.  :clapper:

Congrats, I have been retired almost ten years, I get up in the morning with nothing to do all day, and I am half done by dinner. Busier now than when I was working......love it

Well, after 42 years, I signed my retirement papers at 4:45pm yesterday afternoon. Have some loose ends to tie up on Monday and starting Tuesday I'll be chasing Steelhead with a Fly rod/Spey rod for the next three weeks on Michigans Pere Marquette river. Followed by a month of turkey hunting in May and a summer of playing Grampa.

Fall will be filled with fall Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon and of course Whitetail.

It's been a long time coming and I'm ready :goldtooth:
Congrats Mike!

Congratulations! I retired 2 years ago. I need three of me for all my hobbies. Whoever said retirement is boring must not fish, hunt, archery, trap shoot, skeet shoot, tie flies, make arrows, grand kids etc. etc. etc.! I thought I could never enjoy not working, boy was I wrong! The only time I have thought of work since retiring, was in my sleep in a nightmare!!!

Enjoy every minute, because if you think time flies when you are working hard, it flies four times as fast when you are having fun!!!

Congratulations! I am considering re-joining the retired club at the end of the year. It sounds like you have a well thought out game plan for your retirement. Have fun!

Congrats.  After almost 30 years a Marine uniform and over 20 years in airport management I retired. Days/weeks fly by with 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. Family is sooo important in keeping your life balanced and you seem to have that figured out. Whip those flys and cast those shafts in good health-you. Earned it
