Howatt Limb De-Lam
« on: April 28, 2018, 02:49:02 AM »
Was given a Damon Howatt Hunter #55@28" AMO 62" today by a co-worker. Unfortunately the bottom limb has de-laminated due to neglect. The rest of the bow is actually in good shape

Just wondering if it's worth the effort to have it repaired or not?

I would have to say no, with the damage to the laminations. If you like the riser, you could have someone relimb it , but would prob cost more than its worth. JMO
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Agree with kenny.  Could glue it back together, but would never be sure it would hold together.

Or not... I agree with the previous posters. I would take Kenny's word over the Bible on bow building/repairing

Glue it back together and hang it on the wall. It's shooting days are over.
