Max draw length for 66" Toelke Super D???
« on: May 07, 2018, 05:04:10 PM »
I know I could ask Dan, but I'm looking at a used one and don't want to bother him for something he's not going to profit from. I draw 31", pretty sure it would be good to that length, but I really haven't every played with any D shaped bows.

I don't think that would a problem at all.

David,
you should be ok. I'd hold out for a 68". What #are you looking for?
64" Toelke SSLR
64” Toelke Whip SL
68” Toelke Super D
Great Northern Quivers only!

All the best!

Wasn't really looking for one in particular, just seen one for sale pretty cheap, pretty much got myself talked out of it, going to pull the trigger on one of his new models I think

I dunno.  I think 66 inches in a mild R/d is too short for a 31 inch draw.  Yes, the bow will handle it, but it will stack, and you will feel finger pinch.  68 would be better, and 70 inches better yet, though few folks make a mild rd in a 70 inch length. Good luck in your search.

Edit added:  Wasn't that familiar with the Super D so checked his website.  The Super D is an ASL, not a mild r/d. Definitely go with the longer bow in an ASL.
