Longbow Grips

Wondering what grip you like best?

I've been shooting a Black Widow Longbow and the grip is pretty nice. To shoot it straigth I have to use alot of heel.  Everyone I talk to says not to do this, but that is the only way I can shoot it straight....  Is there a particular grip that one should use a lot of heel on?  Thanks.
Blessings,
Steve

Any straight handled/gripped bow begs to be shot low wrist, i.e., with a lot of heel.

I have a Fused Wrist on my Left, Bow Hand, so     EVERYTHING  is High Wrist For Me! I have a Terrible Time with a Straight Handle, Until I can Find That "Sweet Spot" to Hang Onto!
My LongBows have  ALL  had to have some Padding and Leather Added for any of them Touch My Palm! I have a Recurve that Fits My Hand Perfectly!! So, I "Try" to Reproduce  THAT  Grip!! Its has been a Fun-Challenge!!     You CAN Do It!!  :archer:    :goldtooth:

IMHO, hold it low, and grip it tight.
The size of the horns don,t matter
as long as it has a good tale.
