Hunting Stabilizer
«

I have a Gilo Ghost 19" riser with med. Carbon RC wood limbs with a Yost tab and I think I would need a stabilizer. The bow shoots great as it is ,not sure if it's more of a cosmetic thought or will it help in the long run. I was thinking about the Bee Stinger,or Donker in the eight inch lenght. Any thoughts good or bad on these or other stabs. Thanks for your help ,Gary

If you think you want to try one you should go for it. You won't know if it's good till you try it. Make sure you shoot it with and with out so you know if it helps.

I have found stabilizers to be more useful as a counter weight than anything else. Pic a stab that has a non proprietary weight system so parts are easy to find and front load it until the bow balances level to the target with a slight top heavy cant is my recommendation.

Agreed, a 6”-8” stabilizer with a 5/16-24 thread on the weighted end will be the ticket. I have ran an 8” beestinger in the past on my 19” hunting ILF rigs and really like it.

If you shoot with a cant it may mess with you. Vertically it may work just fine! I found it to mess with my follow through a bit but I also shoot with a slight cant.

I like a 8-10" stabilizer on my ilf setups for nfaa barebow class or for 3d/hunting with a ilf bow i like to use just a barebow weight
