New to me Tall Tines
«
on:

Got my new Tall Tines today and it is awesome. The bow is smooth and the grip is nice. Now I need to find an arrow that it likes. It is 52@28 and I have tried wood 58 to 70# spine( 29 inch shafts) and they all fly week. Any ideas?
Thanks, Scott

I know try stiffer, but I talked to Brian earlier and he suggested 55-60, but they come out side ways, I’ve got some 70-75’s I’ve yet to try, maybe that will work. Going to try aluminum also

All the Tall Tines i have owned (6) shoot spot on with wood for me. Just depends what your doing up front in regards to weight? I would think a 50-55 from 125-150 grain should be spot on at 29”. I am currently shooting a 55# @28” Stickflinger (29” arrow) with 160 grains up front and a 55-60 shoots like a dart.

I don't believe you! Where's the pics?
Kidding! Congrats on your new stick. Let us know how she works out.

I got really lucky finding this bow, it is the specs I would’ve had one built to. The pics don’t do justice to the Osage.

They rarely ever do. Osage is my most favorite wood. I love the way it ages to a darker honey color.

She’s a beauty. It was all I could do not to buy that one. I just have too many in the stable to justify it. Mine will shoot almost any arrow combo well. Mine is 57@28 and I pull 27”. 60-65 160 tip fly like darts. 2018-2117 with 200 do also.
Let me know if she doesn’t work out for you. I’ll find a spot for her.
Good luck.

I will give the lighter spines another try, sounds like they are working for others, I’ll tweak the the brace height a little maybe I can get it dialed in tomorrow

Are you getting a clean release? Gotta rule out all possibilities. Last TT I had was easy to dial in.
