Elbow injury
« on: June 18, 2018, 06:46:49 PM »
I was in a car accident in February. I had to have a partial elbow replacement. I go in for my second surgery tomorrow and I still can’t get my arm straight enough to shoot a bow. Has anyone had a surgery like this and are still shooting a bow?

Yooper-traveler    have you been able to straighten the elbow all the way? and have you started shooting again?

I’m lacking about 5 degrees of extension. I started shooting 25#s at 7-8 weeks post surgery. I’m up to about 50#. Hurts like hell, but the shaking is better. Oddly enough I’ve lost an inch and a half of my draw.
