There is a Bear Replica bow listed on Ebay with the name Richard Korte. I have the same last name and wanted to contact him but not having any luck. The listing seller said to contact highlandwoodworking.com in Washington State but the are located in Atlanta. If anybody knows this guy please let me know. thanks

Richard lives in Olympia, WA and makes some amazing bows (I have two of his Kodiak Dexluxe copies) that are not only beautiful, but shoot extremely well.  He posts occasionally over on *********** and uses the handle, "nemah".  That would be the best way to contact him with a private message.  Also, he's a heck of a nice guy with loads of talent.  Good luck...

I have one of his 1960 Kodiak Deluxe replicas. Its 60 inches. He does use different woods many times on the 1960 replicas than the originals. So not total replicas in that regard. They are perfectly crafted and shoot lights out in every way!!!Very beautiful and very classy.Very much like the Holcomb Bear replicas in quality of build.I did put an SBD string on mine.Preffered over the b-50 stock string. The B-50 shoots great as well though.

He also has made some longbows and a 54 inch curve that looks like the 1960 in looks and design.

As mentioned his handle is Nemah on Stickbow.Do a search thier and see his 1960  build along and other threads on his bows.
