Glue/epoxy
« on: June 26, 2018, 03:27:35 PM »
I watched a short video on how the Black Widow bows are made, their clamps are quite interesting but more so than that I was wondering if anyone knows what epoxy they use?

It was rolled on with what appeared to be a paint roller and it produced very little squeeze out. Who doesn't want less squeeze out, right?
Skeater who?

It could be the same type of stuff we use but applied with a roller, I really like that idea.

Thanks for sharing the video Lonnie. Check out some boat building sites. They have rollers more specific for epoxy application. Never thought about rolling on epoxy but looks great to me

Could be Versamid? (spelling? Never used it but I hear it's less viscous than smooth on, I think Bear Archery uses a roll on epoxy.
