Arrow for new bow question
« on: July 27, 2018, 01:21:04 PM »
I have a primaltech longbow in the works.

It is 51@28 and I draw 26.5.  I am thinking of shooting a 1916 cut to 29-29.5 depending on tuning with a 145-175 grain point.  Does this seem accurate?  Or a good place to start?

I was thinking about going to an 1816 but I want a little heavier arrow and a slightly longer arrow around 29-29.5

I know tune tune tune but I am just looking for some input.

Thanks
60” Bivouac Backland ILF longbow 42@27
58” Schafer Silvertip recurve 47@27
58" Primaltech Longbow 45@27

At that length you might be better with a 2016.
