Palmer Traditonal Slam
« on: March 25, 2008, 01:37:00 PM »
I just ordered a Palmer Traditional Slam recurve.  I'm excited to say the least.  The bow is the commemerative bow to Fred Eichler and his Super Slam with traditonal equipment.  It's made out of ebony and bacote.  Palmer say's it will be March of 2009 before my bow arrives so here starts my year of anticipation. My son will have his Trad Slam late this week or early next. It has been a long wait but it will be worth it once it arrives.

Dave, he sure will be! First the Sunbear and knife, and a week later the Palmer. Shocked me when Nancy emailed me it was done. I was not expecting it for another couple of months, but I am not complaining and neither will Chris   :bigsmyl:   .

I've been waiting for 9 months for my Slam limbs to be repaired and returned. It has not been totally explained what the hold-up is about. Phenomenally good shooting bow... not such good service.

Tbay, I'm sure the hold-up is the fact that he's building a new home in Colorado. I have a T-Slam and love it.

You can order any of his limbs for an existing riser last I asked him. Expect to wait a while and they aren't cheap.

I just contemplated ordering another set of limbs, I was told that they would be ready Summer 09.
