Oregon man rescued from

his harness after hanging upside down for two days. It did not say if he was a bowhunter, but it is bow season. He is a 70 yr from Prineville, OR which is near Bend, OR. He is in critical condition. Be careful and hunt smart.
I did not post the link, because of all the ads.

Hope he makes it, those were two days of torture.
Whenever I go alone, I have started telling a couple of trusted friends not just the general area where I am headed, but I text them the GPS coordinates of my parking spot and treestand location. Time may be the essence in some situations.
Thank you for posting this, it is good to be reminded that it's dangerous out there, and accidents can happen.

Sounds like he may have been using a rock climbing style harness. With a regular treestand harness it would be almost impossible to get upside down with the anchor point being between your shoulder blades.
