Out for a walk with my new bow

We've had a lot of rain over the last three days, and I felt like going for a walk around my property with my new Big Jim bow.
It's funny when you've lived in town for a good while, house right on top of house that 5 acres feels like 500!
Here's a cotton tail only two steps away, and couldn't have cared less that I was there.

Here's another guy I encountered. I think he is a very young one. I first saw him tangled in some wood, and had his tail puffed up. I couldn't get a good picture, but he didn't go far. When I got this picture he didn't know I was there. I think he heard the phone taking pictures though.
I didn't feel like shooting either one of them just nice seeing stuff. There is a squirrel that I would shoot though, but he's pretty sharp!

Rick, that is to cool! Glad you got a break and was able to get out of the house. I'm a little envious of you to have 5 acres!

Quite a bit of rain is an understatement!!!! I dumped 5” out of the guage yesterday, and it’s not done yet! We have had enough for one round here. That’s a good pic of Peppy Lepieu!!!!
