Gonna Take A Step Back In Time
« on: September 24, 2018, 04:04:59 PM »
I do not claim to be the great white hunter, but you guys that know me have known of me killing quite a few animals over the years.Have killed some with selfbows, but gonna take it a little farther this deer season here in Okla.Have some Dogwood shafts and stone points to go with an old selfbow that I am bringing out of retirement. The last time the old bow went hunting she killed a deer behind our cabin which was 7 years ago.Just something I have had a hankering to do for a long time and the time has come.Been shooting the selfbow ewxclusively for about 3 weeks now and am ready!

I'm going to want pictures. No doubt you'll do it, but I want pictures.

Well Terry I have taken one deer with a stone point and it was a hunt I will never forget. This year my goal is to use a self bow and stone point. I do that and I  can retire from hunting, lol.

Crittergitter: I see some Texas rock in those points. I will be using Texas stone this year myself.

Randy you should really get rid of those ugly old pieces of rock so you do not have to look at them anymore, just send them my way and I can keep them out of sight for you!
