Tuning question...
«
on:

I've heard that you can play with the spine of an arrow by adjusting the brace height. My current arrows are too weak, showing a slight but noticeable tail left. My brace height is 7 3/8" right now. Should I change it too 7 1/4" or 7 1/2"? Increase or decrease the brace height to straighten the shaft a touch? Thanks

A 1/8" inch brace height adjustments is typically utilized for very minor fine tuning. However, broadhead flight may be much more visible to a 1/8" inch BH adjustment...personally, I have had to modify BH at least 3/16" to discern a difference.
Lower BH should stiffen the shaft
Raising BH should weaken the shaft.
