1. Can I get a wood shaft 31.5' long?
2. How much would a shaft weight? Assuming it was POC or any other wood in that length?
Thanks...

The last batch I bought were 31.5" tapered chundoo that weighed 390-400. But that will vary quite a bit even within the same species of wood. Shouldn't have any trouble finding wood shafting of this length on the sponsor's sites.

The POC shafts I get are 32" and a typical weight for an 11/32 cedar is 430 grains.
You can buy a grain scale on the unmentionable auction site for 20.00.
If you want to make good wood arrows you really need Cupcake's Spine-o-meter and a grain scale as part of your tools.

The last three batches of ash I got from AMAW were 540-550, 540-550, and 530-540 for the full length shafts (65-70).
I'll check the Chundoo and Doug Fir I have at home tonight.

While you wood arrow guys are looking
How heavy of spine can you get in a 5/16" spruce shaft.I need some well matched ones in a lighter weight around 50lbs.Is this do-able and if so who sells them? Need to make some good 3d arrows.

James I just purchased a set of tapered shafts for my 55# bow they are 5/16 th's p.o.c. but were spined 52-57#spine weight. They were a little pricey but worth the extra money. I bought them on the leading auction site you might look into that.

Our Surewoods are 32" before any tapering, are you needing a 31 1/2" finished arrow? Most wood shafts will run 32" raw.
For most woods in a 60-65 spine your going to be looking at 11/32".
