Tusker 2 blade Broadheads
« on: March 28, 2008, 04:27:00 AM »
Just rec'd 2 sets this week and have been experimenting with the sharpening procedures.
With the last 2 I used a bastard file on one side only to take them down and then finished them off with 2 grades of stone. I'm tellin you these blades are sharp in 15 minutes. I have not scaled them to find how much weight lost, but consider it to be minimal. The 1st 4 I sharpened I filed both sides of the blade, the last 2 one side only. Do some experimenting but think you will be amazed.

Thanks Bowferd,

I'm expecting the mailman to deliver me some Tuskers any day now (right John?). Can't wait to get my hands on them. I may start with a file if necessary but, I like to see just how sharp I can get a broadhead so I'll be finishing with a black Arkansas "Surgeon's stone" and maybe even a strop.   :goldtooth:
