Had a few 56” bows. I’d say one I liked the most was a Timberhawk recurve premier I think it’s called. It was pretty sweet. Well I had a Bear takedown too I really liked plus I could change it to a 60” bow easily.

That's a good looking little curve there. Static tip?

Another vote for Kanati. Totally changed my opinion of short bows, and I've tried lots of them. You would never know you were shooting a 56" bow.

yup Hoosier, it is a little static tip. its a sweet little shooter
did a lot of work on the tips, changing things away from the norm.
tips are stiffer and lighter in mass than other statics

Check out the Toelke Troll, 52" recurve, if I didn't have an ape like draw I'd like to try one!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

With as thick as some of my hunting areas are getting I'm leaning more and more towards the short bow idea
