Might try but not with a bow.  I'm visiting family who only have a couple acres.  Can't take the risk of the turkey running off to die in somebody else's yard so it's air rifle sniping for me.

We are doing the one I shot opening weekend this weekend at the ranch.  First turkey with a bow for me and first off our ranch so we are going to eat it there.

My last turkey in on the menu for this week.  Actually, I cut it into golf ball size chunks and marinade it over night in a garlic/herb sauce.  Next take each piece and lay a slice of jalapino on it then wrap with half a slice of bacon.  Push a tooth pick throught the entire chunk to hold it together.  Cook on grill, until done - about 10 minutes, turning over.  They are really great.
