If you bought your tag but didn't go hunting at all?  :dunno:

I feel poorly for any that did and found themselves unable to get out.

Hopefully, enough season remains for some to be able to take advantage.

There is no shame in tag soup.  I happen to love it.  It tastes like conservation.  It's a bummer you didn't get in the woods tho.

It's still soup, just with no seasoning. Basically a bowl of hot water with your tag in it. Sorry you weren't able to make it out. There's still some time though.

I was thinking its more like a can of soup.  And ya never even opened it up, it just sat on the shelf.

Is the season over in your neck of the woods Graps?...Damn shame if you didn't get out. I only got out one day so far but I still have some season left and I'm hoping to get out one or twice more before 12/31.

Still have till the first but I'm thinking I'm not going to get out at all this year.

No, I've been able to get out quite a bit this year. Retirement does that for you. I even got one this year. However, there have been a number of seasons recently when I didn't get out much at all. I hope everybody at least gets a chance to spend a little time in the woods. It's good for the soul.

I'm not sure which tag soup tastes the worst... your kind or mine. While I have a few more days to hunt, I've hunted hard and have no meat to show for it!

I have enjoyed several days afield, but this is the first year with no deer to this point of the season.

I guess we just have to enjoy what we have (or don't have).
