Yes!!! Finally!!
« on: March 29, 2008, 07:06:00 PM »
Been shooting for quite a while now, but this is a first for me. Can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to mess up an arrow!

  :bigsmyl:

I know plentty of you guys, and ladies, have done it but when I heard that "Crack", I first thought I just messed up an arrow by hitting it near the middle. When I got to the taget and saw what happened I think I jumped about 10 feet in the air with my fist pumping!!

By the way, had to put the arrows back in the target for the second photo so I could get a picture with teh bow and quiver with it.
Needless to say that arrow is going on the wall with the first arrow I shot a deer with!

Now Keith.  Lets be honest.  Its not the bow...any bow can do that.  And its only a small percentage given by the shooter,,,anyone is capable of doing that.  But the honest fack about doing that is the "arrow designer".....roflmao.  I would have thought that those logs would have pushed the other one out the back...heheheheh

That awesome...I've done it twice with a compound but never with a recurve/longbow.

Next time you take a picture of a robinhood remember to put the arrows back in the dead center of the bullseye.

All jokes aside, it is a great feeling to see that your practice is making you perfect.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, they make the moment mean that much more.
It's funny, I was telling my squad about it today and they just looked at me and said, "what's a Robin Hood?". Guess it means more to me then others, but that's ok.

Charlie, you're right about the weight, I was really suprised it didn't do more damage to the arrow, that's 360 grains up front!

Thanks again,
Keith
