Brad visits, couple new selfbows
« on: March 29, 2008, 11:46:00 PM »
Brad Merkel came over to make bows this weekend. Here is my first attempt at a bend in the handle. 53" NTN 50# @ 28

Brad made an R/D osage 63 NTN 58# @ 27

More productive when you have company and can say, "Hey, check this out!" several times a day.

Alright! Shaun,, thanks for sharing. The bows look like real shooters and your bendy handle took on no set, huh,, way to go!. Glad you have a friend close with the same interests.

Had to bring this back up for another look.  Shaun had this bow at the Expo.  It was pretty impressive to see this little bow bend that far and zip the arrows in there. Really nice!
