I'm very interested in the Troll & the Pica. I have a 26" draw. Would the Pica be more forgiving?

I'd recommend giving Dan a call and talking to him. I have a 26.5" draw length and after discussing what kind of shooting/ hunting I do, poundage limitations due to shoulder injuries and he suggested a 54" Pika, 40# at my draw. That's what I ordered and have no regrets. Very forgiving bow to shoot, not to mention just plain fun to shoot.

Troll has a thicker fuller grip and more mass in the riser. Pika being a longbow is quite slender, though Dan can customize the dimensions on the grip to your liking. Both have an excellent grip shape to begin. Both are easy shooting bows as are all Toelkes. Yes the Pika might be marginally more forgiving of torquing the string and quieter as it has no limb contact. Drawn to 26.5 the Troll will be awful quiet anyway. You honestly cant go wrong either way.

^^ Agreed. I would, and did, choose a Pika. Also, a Whistler, Super D, and a Whip!

All are great bows! I’ve got my eye on another one, but still trying to decide if I want to sell my Curlew to fund it...
