I have tried all of that stuff. Nothing beats my Rokon. Used it two weeks ago to haul out a deer

I wouldn't be without my Jet sleds!  They're a wonderful tool to make dragging easier.  I keep one here in Iowa and one at our Wisconsin property.

The utility sled I got from Rural King has been great. It easily rides up over smaller tree trunks and b comes effortless on snow or ice. It rides in the truck all season long.

Yes! Get one. And you can use it for a lot of stuff through out the year. Or hauling fire wood too.  Keeps vehicle clean as no blood gets anywhere. Makes dragging easier. Also keeps the antlers and its legs all bunched up so they don’t get hung up on stuff. Now it’s still work but I prefer it for sure. Also In shallow water crossings it keeps water from getting in chest cavity and helps keep leaves and debris from getting all over the deer. Really no down side unless you live in dry desert than I’d opt for a cart.

I have used a kids toboggan with a tapered front and higher sides with good results.  The muddy bottoms of the Wabash should be good dragging.  I sometimes have a tougher time on the rocks in Texas.

This was just after my first reply to this post . My son shot 170LB dressed 7 point in a swamp or an area that they logged and used skidders. Ruts were 3 foot deep most full of water. All I can say is Thank God we had the jet sled .  Still was rough but sled made it doable . Lucky not to break a leg and my son is strong as horse .

Mike, you can't go wrong with that choice.  It's nice to ask a question on a forum like this and just get overloaded with positive feedback about a product.  Makes it a lot easier to make that decision!

Was just over to northwoods Outfitter and they have a jet sled that is 71 x 44 x16. You could put three or four deer in that thing and pull it behind the quad.

I use them often... Its still is work, but on rocky ground they sure keep the hide from getting beat up and slides right over the rocks.  The hardest is on bare ground..    I modified mine and put pull ropes on both the front and back.  If I have help, the back person can help keep it from rolling over or help lift it over logs, etc.  I also attacked 1x3's along the outside rails and eye bolts so I can strap the deer in more secure.  We get into to more rugged terrain at times.  On flat trails and ground, I'll use a cart.....
