Feather Chopping
« on: January 19, 2019, 07:48:48 AM »
I am looking for someone to splice me some feathers in full length for a wood arrow project I am doing.
I have a copper I use for a high back 4” shield cut.
I have tried splicing in the past and never could get it right!
PM me and we can discuss.

Or, if you want to bypass all that, you can buy spliced feathers already made from 3 Rivers: https://www.3riversarchery.com/full-length-spliced-arrow-feathers.html

splicing is REALLY easy just don't rush the glue  peal the membrane from the host fletching, leaving the quill to glue  on then peal the color to add (It helps to have a marked  board for the length)
after glue sets up let it dry before chopping ( I burn after fletching) mark your chopper to make uniform fletch
