Ah, you mean site as on TV. I get to the area I plan to hunt and stick my finger in the air and see which way the wind is going. Well, not actually my finger. I like to use a puff bottle with corn starch in it. You can see what the wind is doing in your immediate area. I don't think I ever checked the weather web sites.

I have a weather radio. At my cabin, I play it for the local weather before going to bed and again in the morning before I go out.
I should ad that I don't get cell service at my cabin so a phone app wouldn't work.

The weather channel site seems to get along w my phone the best. I can also pull up the satalite radar and it shows me exactly where I am so I can mark stand locations and also look at wind conditions as to exactly where I am considering going. Here is an example of this,

I’ve been using “Wind Compass”.
Seems to be accurate. Easy to use too.

I use the HuntStand app on my I-Phone. The basic package is free and it provides local temps, solunar tables, stand locations plus more. It is very accurate and my favorite.

I use weather underground. Free app, and it's usually pretty accurate... usually.

I was using that Deercast app that the Drury's came out with. The app is complete crap IMO aside from the weather, which is all I use it for.

Well I watch about five or more different ones, mainly fishing but hunting as well. Mainly just to get an idea of how the wind is in the area. weatherbug, windy, Windfinder is a good one. Think I like windy best.
Mainly for fishing as going out in the ocean and all but hunting as well.

I use Weather underground too. They all get their data from the same source so I just use the one that works for me.

Weather Underground for me i like the 10 day chart it has everything you need (wind direction and speed, temp, forecast, and pressure for exact times)! Plus under the chart is moon phase and sunrise times! Like I said everything on one page, that's why I like it good luck!
