String Groove??
«
on:

I need to add some material to the string groove on a couple of recurves and was wondering if I could use velcro material (soft side) or the fleece material they sell for covering compound risers?
Other suggestions are welcome as always.

That stuff will work, but I really like the BowHush product (sponsor). Does the same thing only better.

Have to agree with Charlie there. The velcro and fleece will flatten and form a groove, losing a lot of the quieting power. The BowHush is real easy to keep fluffed so to speak.

As said above I think bow hush works better and lasts longer.

Yup Bowhush on the string is a much better way than adding material to your limbs and covering up the string grooves!!
