Connexion hinge

Does anyone have a photo or idea how to install a simple lock for the hinge bow in case of string breakage etc. to avoid folding.

A couple strong neodymium magnets in each half perhaps?

I thought about the magnets.   Neodymium magnets may be hard to find up here but I will search high and low.
