Hump Day
« on: February 20, 2019, 10:12:33 AM »
Today was "hump day" for me, or as the radiation technician put it "Double hump day"...

Today being Wednesday, it was hump day of the week and for me personally, it marked the day I officially completed 50% of my Radiation treatments for prostate Cancer... So I have 1/2 of the 39 treatments done...

Yea! :jumper:

The first half hasn't been without a few hiccups, but if it doesn't get much worse then this, I'll be grateful... ESPECIALLY, if it kills the cancer cells!

Thanks to all the prayer warriors who have weighed in, sent PM's and emails!   :notworthy:

Hey Doc “WHAT DAY IS IT” It,s HUMP DAY  Wow It seems as you just started but 1/2 way through already and I know you have had a few technical difficulty’s in the beginning and I’m asking has that situation gotten any better as far as the discomfort?
Also if my calculation is correct you should be done with the radiation around second to third week in March is that correct ?
I’m praying daily for you Big Brother and I want you also to know I Thank you for the wise council you gave me over my situation as well.
Wished we lived closer so we could spill our guts out to each other more but only problem is I have a keg gut and you a wine glass so that ain’t fare now :goldtooth:

Also here’s a Big HUMP DAY  :shaka:

Thanks, Keith, but it surely doesn't seem to me that I "just started"...

The "discomfort" is now more manageable and as I'm fond of saying to those who'll listen: "Battling cancer should NOT be a cake walk"

That medication they put me on to help with frequency and urgency backfired and it was a week of misery for sure...

I take no credit for what I shared to you... Fortunately, I find people saying something I shared was of value so I have to KNOW, it ain't me, Babe... :)  I figure it's the Good Lord working thru me...

IF ONLY...it were more consistent :)
