Turkey methods and what I,ve learned

I have now hunted them 2 ways "the hard way" by stalking and with the use of a blind and call and this is what I,ve learned. It takes two different sets of skills, stalking takes a never give up attitude, fail and fail again then it comes together one day. Blinds take PATIENCE with a capitol "P". God made me to stalk, had to because I found out I was not blessed with patience, So which way is harder, Well for me, the blind is harder, this is what I need to become a better hunter. every time I saw turkeys in the blind my first reaction is " let me out so I can chase them" anyone else made this way.

Yep.  Patience is my weak point as far as being a good turkey hunter.  You would think I would learn from my mistakes though since most of my successful turkey hunts (especially with a bow) have been the hunts which required the most patience.

I guess Im the same....I tried sitting in a blind once. Made it ten minutes. I will be going blindless this year.

I like the blinds just like tree stands for deer I can stay put for all day sits for rutting whitetails so what is 6 or 7 hours for turkey atleast you can hear them.
