Anyone ever heard of Texas Tackle House?
« on: March 27, 2019, 08:34:01 PM »
I'm following a line of research that has brought me to this bowyer, active at least during 1944 and perhaps earlier and later.  They were out of Denton, Texas.

Here's an ad from the Jan '44 issue of the American Bowman-Review.

As you can see they specialized in Osage bows.  Something northern Texas has in abundance - or did when I lived there in the 60's and 70's.  Any info, no matter how minor would be helpful.  Thanks!
