Hi Fujimo

Thanks for that reply -think I learned a bit from reading
TO Late - haha - I have already steamed the last half of each limb and it’s currently clamped to a 2x4 so some of the reflex will gone and at same time I have tried to correct that string line that was 1/2” off the centre - will leave it until tomorrow morning before unclamp it and see if done anything ..
my draw length is 30-31” (as 6’3”) and long arms and wanted to keep this as long as possible but if the steam and straighten don’t work - guess tomorrow I will shorten it .

But thanks for info - brace string as soon as possible ( I usually do that anyway ) but didn’t know was best so learned that today.
Dry heat dry wood and wet heat wet wood that’s also a good tip -
Other stave I did straighten with dry heat and worked fine ..
Thanks Mark

HI Guys

THANKS all for help and suggestions , I steamed some reflex out and straightened that one limb with steam and little heat , and also shaved off alittle wood on the stronger side of that limb and seems all good now .
i had it braced today and drew back 26-28" in a loose grip and no twist in my hand .

couple Pics to show everything
Clamped to 2x4 after steaming to hold shape
stave slightly straighter
back stave straighter
string line after steam
