Keeslar Flare
« on: January 29, 2019, 04:00:37 PM »
Rainy day with forge fired up...Keeslar flare finger guard with wide blade and skinny handle. Hollow grind on blade...haven't done one of these in years. Just needed to do something different. Blade quenched and tempering in the oven. Not sure how I want to finish it, if I finish it at all!

Tempered and blade re-ground...

Jeff, Your flairs are sure clean. I sure like a hollow ground blade and it fits well on that one. The blade you sent some years back has been used a lot and is a dandy.

Hay Jeff  I remember doing the flair years ago.   Still like the simple elegance of this blade.   Thanks for the show
