Alan,
I had Abe build one for me and I've had it for a few months now. It's 51# @ 28". This is a great shooting bow. I had to drop down in weight and was worried that the lower poundage would be marginal for hunting. This bow shoots as fast and hits as hard as any of my 55#- 58# bows. Abe builds a great looking bow also. When I read Pete Ward's review of this bow I had to get one. Everything in Pete's review is dead on.It took a while to get my bow made and shipped but it was well worth the wait. If you are thinking about buying one I would have to say go for it.You will not be disappointed with the looks, workmanship and performance of Abe's Peregrine.

I purchased a used one last year. The riser is Tulipwood, and limb core is bamboo w/Tamo Ash veneers. A lightweight bow with outstanding performance. Very natural-feeling pointer and cut to center. I like the thumb rest, I like the sight window which runs a full 3" up from the shelf at a 90 degree, and I like the grip circumference of 4-5/8". There is a lot of reflex in the limbs on this 62" bow, which makes it feel very dead in hand. The overall craftsmanship is superb.

640 wide please. Beautiful bow Piney.

Whittler,
Already read that one just wanted to see some other pics and thoughts on this bow.  Still in the throws of choosing my next bow, want a hybrid to go along with my Frank SanMarco longbow, it looks so lonely there hanging by itself.
The ones on the list are a Caribow Peregrine, Black swan Hybrid, Matlock predator, Farwest bow by Bill VanBuskirk .
All are fine shooting bows and finely crafted from what I hear,  and blazin fast the whole lot.
My big hold back is that I have yet to hold much less shoot any of them.
Thanx.
 All the best to all,
 Oberon

Rastaman,
Thanx again for the pics, these photos came out even better that the ones that you sent to me directly.  They are a bit larger and easier to see the detail.  Thank you for the compliments on my work. I do enjoy what I do.

Pinelander That is one fine looking bow. You know I think that the present crop of custom bow crafters produce pieces of usable sculpture , art for every day. Nice to look at and hold. Abe's bows all seem to qualify  on all counts. And I hear that they shoot even better.

I shoot a silver fox from Abe but my son is borowing a pergrine from a fellow tradganger to try out to see if he likes it and in my humble opinion it is one of the best bows on the market not to mention every one I have seen has been a work of art and if I ever buy another custom bow you can bet it will be one of Abe's good luck Delin

Are there any Caribow Peregrine owners in the pacific Northwest that would let me get a look at their bow?
Really thinking about ordering one but would dearly like to at least hold one before I plunk down my $$$.
I live about 45 miles South of Eugene Oregon.
I would be willing to travel as far as Seattle to the North or into Northern California to get a first hand look at one.
 Thanx,
 Oberon

I'll bet that if I lived in Canada I could find a Peregrine close enough to look at.
Any Peregrine owners that live just over the border  from Washington?
Abe said that he had no Peregrine owners near me that he knew of.
