A short video about my start in traditional archery
« on: July 28, 2019, 04:21:45 PM »
Hi everyone,

I recently put together this short video to talk a little bit about my start in trad, and also thank the people who have helped me along the way by sorting out gear for me or giving me advice on my form. It only goes for a couple of minutes but I wanted to try to make a video to prove to myself that I could do it, as I want to make many more in the future.

If you get a chance, please take a moment to have a look and let me know what you all think. I really appreciate everyone on this forum offering me advice along the way.

Cheers.

Nice....couple of questions...

What is the nock point measurement on the bow you are shooting in this video?

Where are you posting shooting videos for comment?

1. Not sure about the nock point measurement, mate. I don't own a bow square and the string was setup and sent to me by a friend. I plan on getting some more equipment to further develop my knowledge of bows soon.

2. As they've only been short mobile phone videos that I didn't feel like uploading to youtube, I've either uploaded them to different trad pages on facebook or sent them to people I know who have a lot more experience than me.

I'll post plenty, mate. Right now I've got a mountain of footage to go through and turn into videos from the last few years of rifle hunting, but I'm working on taking my 'curve out more and more right now.
