Wow! That is a tremendous buck, Glad you brought it back up because I missed it the first time around and there are probably many others that also missed it. Thanks.

Thanks everyone But is there a way to take the post and save it/move it to the Highlights of 2017 forums or is it too late? I also remember I had a post after I got the mount back with a donated cape from a friend here in Maryland "Yohan" John Dietrich who unselfishly went above and beyond letting me have a really nice cape from a very nice 8 point he could of had mounted. Not many folks would do such a thing and I am so grateful that John came to my rescue and made the story complete. If not for him the bucks antlers would be sitting on my work bench still.
Thank you again John for being so kind and you are part of the story ...

Keefer, what an absolute quilter of an animal, and a really enjoyable well told account of how it all panned out.
I missed this the first time, so I'm really glad you posted your pictures again.
Man, what a cracker of a deer. How old would something like that be?
God sure is good hey!
Best

Alex,
Not sure of his age but if I were to take a guess I would possibly say He was 6 or 7 years old by judging his Roman nose .Heres a picture of his nose and first thing I noticed when I first saw him that day.
