Bighorn bow quiver
« on: July 14, 2019, 04:01:17 PM »
Any suggestions on best quiver for one piece bighorn recurve. It has the inserts for a bolt on. I have picked up the recurve for my son in law.
Thanks

Is there just the 2 inserts top and bottom?? An Asbell bolt on fits the bill or any quiver the works on a Bear T/D

I believe a Bear/Delta is the same one that Bighorn used to sell for its bows.

When I felt like I had to have my quiver detached my 3 arrow Kwikee fit the bill nicely however my strap on EFAs have set the new standard. Will you hunt quiver attached or removed?

Yes seems as Orion hit on it. Those inserts will be on upper and lower riser cancelling a Kwikee option

I would just put a Selway slip on and be done with it. Excellent and silent

Looks like the great northern or selway are available. The bear delta I could not find may have to look for used

Found a cool bolt on in the classifieds, it has a bighorn painted on it. Going to pick it up, will need bolts for if though. May try selway for bolts.

Thanks again guys. Also sheephunter (Charlie) for the quiver

I have used the Selway bolt on for many years.  It is solid and makes no noise.  Usually have to replace the rubber inside the hood every few years from broadhead use.

Thunderhorn makes some beautiful quivers that will bolt on to those inserts.
