McAlester shoot?
« on: July 01, 2019, 11:47:12 AM »
Anyone heard what is going on for McAlester? I tried to reserve a trailer, was informed they haven't  received the official word if it is happening. Any news?
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

That’s where I graduated high school, spent many a year swimming at the base pool once I enlisted in the reserves. And our family land almost backed up to the NE fence.

They have a new Colonel in charge that just took charge about 2 weeks ago.  He has final say whether or not they have the shoots...even the hunts.  Hes probably not even finished unpacking his bags so I'm sure it's the last thing on his mind.

That’s the info I received as well. I plan to be there with a small booth and a handful of bows. Y’all stop by and say hi if your there!
