Identifying old broadheads?
« on: November 13, 2022, 11:37:46 PM »
All,

I was blessed last week by a gift from a longtime archery friend.  He gave me about 50 broadheads that he collected in the 60s-80s and many of them are unmarked.  I would love to identify them as best I can.  I believe most were made 30s-60s.  I can identify the ones from the 80s since I remember them, but the older ones are harder, especially the unmarked ones.

Do any of you have some online references that you like for identifying these sorts of heads?

Thanks much for any links or groups you might be able to suggest.

Matt

You might start with archerycollecting.com. Gene Hopkins has some good info there, however I am not certain how current the site is.

TradGang is a good online info source. Post pics here and I bet you will get lots of good info about your old broadheads.
