I know Abe always gets held in high regard here. I have a Peregrine That I really like, but it too high a poundage for me....So I have a Taiga on order!

Abe makes some really fine bows and I have owned several but not the EX. but I did shoot one as a pass around bow. It was a fine bow but I did not feel it was better than many good recurves I have shot.
I bought a used Border recurve with Hex 6 HD limbs last year in a lower poundage due to my old age and i was blown away at the performance of a 40# bow shooting 565 grain arrows. If you get a chance to shoot one I think you'll be impressed. I have also shot the Border Covert Hunter and it is high performance also, but they are a bit spendy $$

I also shot the pass around bow, I thought it was a race car. The bow was super fast, but if you made a mistake with your release it let you know.
I was so impressed with the bow that I asked Abe if he could build me his static limbs for my 2004 Taiga. He said he could.
The results were incredible, these limbs have so much speed and cast. I ordered the limbs at 50# and they out shoot my 55# limbs.
Dont over bow yourself and you will never part with your Taiga.

I owned a longbow Peregrine and a recurve Tuktu EX both VERY good bows. Abe's EX limb design is very good and his riser grip and the shelf cut the best.

I own a Tuktu EX takedown and think it is a great performer. I liked it so much that I recently purchased a Tiaga EX just because. It should be here on Tuesday. Looking forward to making a true comparison. Abe's bows fit me to a tee. I love them all.
